At Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical Services, we have several contests running throughout the year for you to take part in. See the list below for the specific contest rules and regulations.
Free Furnace for Fall Contest rules
We accept online submissions through the Vernon Matters website for our Free Furnace for Fall contest each year from October 1st to October 31st. Owner-occupied residential homes are eligible. The furnace must be in good working condition, installed to Technical Safety BC Gas Code, used as the primary source of heating the home, and be supplied with natural gas or propane. The home must be within 20 kilometers of Vernon BC. The Grand Prize is a new Coleman furnace (not including a plenum and return airdrop), installed, up to a value of $3,500. The value is calculated according to Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Services Retail Investment Guide (our average price for a 40,000 BTUH high-efficient single-stage furnace is $3,493.00 plus tax). The Grand Prize does not include the plenum and return airdrop or any additional modifications to the ductwork. Any other modifications are the responsibility of the homeowner. The homeowner is responsible for the removal of asbestos; asbestos abatement is solely the responsibility of the homeowner and must be completed and verified before Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Services can install the new system. There is no purchase necessary to win. You will receive updates about this contest, exclusive discounts and offers, and helpful information via email. All eligible contest entrants will receive a $250 credit (expires one year from the date of entry) towards a new natural gas/propane furnace or a new central air conditioning system.
Oldest Air Conditioner Contest rules
We accept online submissions for our Oldest Air Conditioner Contest each year on specified dates. Owner-occupied residential homes are eligible. The air conditioner must be in good working condition, installed to Technical Safety BC Electrical Code, used as the primary source of cooling the home. The home must be within 40 kilometers of Vernon BC. The air conditioner must have a confirmable age so one of our technicians will visit your home and confirm the age of the system by verifying the model number and serial number. The Grand Prize is a new air conditioner (including a plenum and return airdrop), installed for FREE, up to a value of $3,500. The value is calculated according to Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Services Retail Investment Guide. The Grand Prize includes the plenum and return airdrop, but does not include additional modifications to the ductwork. Any other modifications are the responsibility of the homeowner. The furnace must be in good working condition, installed to Technical Safety BC Gas Code, used as the primary source of heating the home, and be supplied with natural gas or propane. The home must be within 40 kilometers of the Vernon BC. The furnace must have a confirmable age so one of our technicians will visit your home and confirm the age of the system by verifying the model number and serial number. The Grand Prize is a new high-efficiency furnace (including a plenum and return airdrop), installed for FREE, up to a value of $3,500.
